THÖNI Industriebetriebe GmbH is an Austrian family business, which, among other business areas, specializes in the production of biogas plants for the fermentation of organic waste as well as agricultural by-products. 25 years of experience in conception, planning and construction are embedded in these systems.

Flexible operation and optimal plant availability

As a full-service provider, we offer tailor-made systems for sustainable energy production. Process-relevant components are created in the company’s own metalworks. Thöni has implemented more than 90 biogas plants in Europe and has been successfully operating since then.

Waste pure, energy out - fermentation of organic waste

The Thöni Dry Digestion (TTV) is ideal for the anaerobic treatment of organic waste with a high proportion of contaminants. At the heart of the plant is the robust and impurity-resistant plug-flow fermenter. The special dimensioning of the paddle stirrer ensures the optimum mixing of inhomogeneous substrates, thus effectively counteracting the formation of swimming layers and thus promotes a high biogas yield. The flexibility and modular design of the system allow the operator to react to new developments in the waste market without any problem.

Power from nature - biogas plants for agriculture

The core component of the Thöni NATURGAS technology is the wet fermenter, which is continuously filled with liquid and solid input materials using a special introduction technique. The Thöni NATURGAS paddle stirrer is especially suitable for the efficient mixing of various feeds with a high dry substance content and thus ensures a high biogas yield.

The special thing about Thöni biogas plants

  • High system flexibility, robust system technology
  • Maximum plant availability, low maintenance and operating costs
  • High-performance agitator, high biogas yields
