Two heat pumps from OCHSNER W\u00e4rmepumpen GmbH remove the energy from the sewage from the sewer and thus feed two low-temperature local heating networks, which supply these 102 residential units with heating energy and hot water.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-350d37f3 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"350d37f3\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1e1172e7\" data-id=\"1e1172e7\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-64d838f9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"64d838f9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The sewage is removed from the main collector by means of a removal structure and fed to the two wastewater heat exchangers via a pressure line. When the water is removed, the waste water is sieved in order to separate the solids. The two heat exchangers of Huber SE are specifically designed for energy generation from waste water. They have an automatic cleaning device which removes the resulting deposits on the heat exchanger tubes at periodic intervals so that the transmission power (in this case 100 kW) is maintained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4d5373c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4d5373c\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-71a56143\" data-id=\"71a56143\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-676c96b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"676c96b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>After the energy is extracted, the wastewater flows back to the main collector in a newly constructed sewage collector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-460eea94 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"460eea94\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-3836522f\" data-id=\"3836522f\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-125efee8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"125efee8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Overall the plant achieves an annual utilization rate of approx. 4.0. This means that a quarter of the energy from electricity is supplied, three quarters of the heating energy comes from the wastewater, so that the already used primary energy is reused for the warming up of the water. The current required for the heat pump drive is also obtained in the sewage treatment plant, it is produced from sewage gas generated in the sewers. Thus, this type of heating system saves about 80% to 90% of primary energy and carbon dioxide emissions compared to a conventional plant.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-449e07d elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"449e07d\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-cfb3de8\" data-id=\"cfb3de8\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1be8072 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1be8072\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Through the thermal renovation of the 11 buildings, the specific heat requirement could be reduced accordingly.
