It also provides energy for the cooling (cooling) of the university buildings, which is a significant cost factor because of the high outside temperatures. The cooling system is based on a lithium-bromide-based absorption chiller with a cooling capacity of 1,575 kW. This makes the system not only the largest, but also the most powerful solar-powered cooling project worldwide. By a double cover the collector achieves a very low heat loss.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7f97696e elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7f97696e\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-10bc77ea\" data-id=\"10bc77ea\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57e1a83c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57e1a83c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In addition to the outer highly transparent solar glass pane (unstructured float glass), an inner cover made of a transparent and high temperature resistant Teflon film is installed. In order to reduce heat losses due to the high working temperatures, the &#8220;Gatmugl HT&#8221; collector has a back wall insulation consisting of 120 mm mineral wool. &amp; Nbsp; This collector is operated by the Austrian company \u00f6koTech Produktionsgesellschaft f\u00fcr Umwelttechnik mbH, a subsidiary of S.O.L.I.D. This means that the university does not buy the facility, but with S.O.L.I.D. a long-term contract for the acceptance of solar-produced heat and cold. The UWCSEA pays the same price, which costs Fernk\u00e4lte in Singapore. The S.O.L.I.D.
