For the 49.000 biggest companies in Europe, this will become mandatory in 2024 as a result of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) of the European Commission, which will enforce among others a reporting standard on \u201cCircular Economy &#038; Resource Use\u201d (the European Sustainability Reporting Standard E5 or ESRS E5).
