Manifold competences from Austria

The photovoltaic plants in operation in Austria led to a power generation of 937.1 GWh in 2015 and thus to a reduction of CO2 emissions of 787,162 tons.

The total installed capacity of PV newly installed in Austria in 2015 fell slightly compared to the previous year. In 2015 grid-connected photovoltaic plants with a total output of 151,806 kWpeak and self-sufficient systems with a total output of about 46 kWpeak were installed. This results in an increase of 151.851 kWpeak, which led to a cumulative total output of all photovoltaic plants of around 937.1 MWpeak in Austria at the end of 2015.
